Terms and Conditions
By booking and attending an appointment for the services of Tori Brown McTimoney Veterinary Chirorpactor, either in clinic or community based, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement.
Cancellation/Rescheduling
The cancellation/reschedule policy is 48 hours notice. Any cancellation or rescheduling of appointments within this period will incur a charge of 100% of the treatment fee.
Tori Brown reserves the right to cancel/reschedule any appointments at any time due to extenuating circumstances. Any changes will be communicated to you as soon as possible, which is why having an up to date mobile number for you is necessary.
It is essential that bookings can be relied upon, as this a business and sole source of income. The diary is carefully planned out to keep delays and travel time, and ultimately expenses, as reasonable as possible. Cancellations can leave big gaps in a day, which can rarely be filled at short notice. This can often mean nothing productive can be done in that time, especially on community days.
Treatment Fees
Payment for treatments should be made at the time of booking, either via cash or BACS.
Cheques and card payments are not accepted. Credit or finance agreements are not available.
Insurance Claims
It is the owner's responsibility to ensure their insurance will cover the costs of their animal's treatment.
For insurance claims, the treatments must be paid for in full and an invoice/reciept will be provided for you to submit to your insurance company.
Health Concerns and Patient Illness
Patients with infectious or contageous condidtions will NOT be treated. Owners are advised to cancel all appointments until the patient has been clear of symptoms for at least 1 week. Veterinary consent to treat may be required prior to the patient's return to therapy, to ensure they have fully recovered from the illness/disease.
Refusal of Treatment
Tori Brown reserves the right to refuse to treat any patient, at any time, due to health concerns, the requirement of further veterinary investigation and/or if the patient appears to be unsuitable, or it is unsafe for the treatment to proceed.
If upon examination of the patient, treatment is not possible due to contraindications, an assessment fee (Horse £65, dog £45) will be incurred to cover time and fuel costs. If a veterinary report is required, an additional charge of £10 will be applied.
Additional Information
Owners are reqired to notify Tori Brown if a patient's condition worsens, or if the veterinary surgeon advises that the treatment is stopped or suspended.
Any information, photographs or videos collated during the assessment and treatment process (with your express consent), are the property of Tori Brown McTimoney Veterinary Chiropractor and can therefore be utilised for both private and public use, eg, advertising and marketing purposes.
